ICT is also transforming pedagogy by providing new   ways to engage learners. ICT used to provide new ways to engage   learners. Through the use of Ipads and IWBS to engage students through   enjoying lessons and relevant content.
Backwards design Help   designing the assessment first then working your way through what you will   teach to link to the created assessment May   help with designing assessment for students in a short unit in order to work   out if the students grasp the concept.
RAT Framework Replacement,   Amplification or Transform. Used to either replace a current method, amplify   that or Transform a subject into something greater. Will   assist if using ICTs to better the learning or make it more enjoyable or   relevant to the students.
TIP Model The Technology Integration Planning (TIP) Model was   designed to give teachers a systematic way to address the challenges involved   in integrating technology into teaching (Roblyer, 2003). By carrying   out the steps in each of the model’s five phases, teachers perform a set of   planning, implementation, and assessment activities that help assure their   technology use will be both efficient and successful in meeting the needs of   students.
The 5Es 5 E’s Explore, elaborate,   Evaluate, Explain and Engage students. Used this in my science course for   university. The   5 E’s is an instructional model based on the constructivist approach to learning.   Strongly linked to constructivist learning.
WALT & WILF Pedagogical framework strategy – “We Are Learning To…”, “What I’m Looking For…” The goal of each lesson to be   written at the front of the classroom. So at the end the student can say “I   am learning this” or if they are unable to grasp concept to ask the teacher   for more help or info.
Connectivism Aid students to build an Authentic   audience with others learning the same information. Used by preservice and   current teachers to extend their PKN Make connections with staff for   the future, share resources, discuss strategies and ways that have worked in   the current environment.
Bloom’s taxonomy Bloom’s taxonomy is a way of distinguishing   the fundamental questions within the education system. There are three taxonomies. Which of the three to use   for a given measurable student outcome depends upon the original goal to   which the measurable student outcome is connected.
Postman’s 5 things 5   things we need to know ‘For every advantage a new technology offers, there is   always a corresponding disadvantage’. With every advantage there is a   disadvantage. Always prepare for when things go wrong. Postman covered 5   different things with ICT that people must know.
Toolbelt theory/TEST framework Task, Enviroment, Skills and Tools Used when a problem has occurred.   What is the task? Where is the task? What skills are needed and what tools   are required to complete it?
